2025 Waterford Summer race series

Join us for the 2025 season of grass roots racing and biking community get togethers at the Waterford Racetrack.  Races for everyone and the occasional post-race after party.

  •  All Races start at 6:30, line up 6:25

  •  A Race – Cat 1-3 

  •  B Race – Cat 4 and Novice

  •  Masters 50+ - Run with A Race.  Masters are welcome to join the B Race.

  •  Juniors – Enter the A or B race based on skill level

  •  Women – All Categories start together

NEW RACER CLINIC

Calling all men, women and junior new racers.   A Free New Racer clinic, led by a USAC Coach.  Starting every week before the races at 5:40.   

meet up at the start line tent.   We’ll spend 30-40 min covering new skills and race tactics and then give you an opportunity to race.  

A new payout plan is in place for 2025, intended to promote teamwork to go for the win and increased use of team race tactics.

  •  Payouts by race continue to be weighted based on entries per field. 

  •  A Race   $70/$30/$20

  •  B Race   $50/$20/$10

  •  ‘A’ Juniors   $100 to the top 3

  •  Women   $100 to the top 3

  •  Masters   $50 to the winner

Race Series Payout to top 3 in each field

  •  A Race   $350

  •  B Race   $250

  •  Juniors   $200

  •  Women   $100

  •  Masters   $100

1. The Series is permitted by USA Cycling 2025 Permit number 10461
2.  Rider entry fee = $30 per week at the event 
3.  Full Series Discount through Pre-registration at: https://www.bikereg.com/2025waterfordsummerraceseries
4. Pre-register for weekly races at www.bikereg.com  for $25 per race, search tor Waterford Races
5. Waterford Hills Raceway is a 1.4 mile paved closed circuit located behind the Oakland County Sportsman’s Club located at 4770 Waterford Rd, Clarkston, MI 48346.
6.  Free lap rule is in effect
7.  The Chief Referee reserves the right to change races as needed. 
8. Helmets mandatory always on the event grounds and required for racing 
9.  $25 1 Day license required for lapsed cat 1, 2, 3 & 4 USA Cycling members, $15 One Day license required for Beginners without a USAC license.
